He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Valdez and Facunda Valdez; and his brothers, Victor, Raymond and Rudy Valdez.
He is survived by : his wife Teresa Adams; his children, Jeremy Valdez of Dalhart, Tiffany Thompson of Dalhart and Russell Adams of Amarillo; and his siblings, Joe, Christopher Valdez, Delia Mireles, Margaret Moreno, Cecilia Gomez, Barbara Soto and Benita Zapata. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren.
