He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Funk and Charles S. Funk; his son Jeff Funk; and his siblings, Loisjane Mathews and Jerrylee Funk.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Funk; his stepchildren, Heather Brunson (Steve) and Hilary Wilcox (Gary); his grandchildren, Braxton Wilcox (Allison), Phillip Brunson (Hailey), Davis Brunson (Chelsea) and Avery Wilcox Boydston (Bayler); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Beckham, Jacks, Dawson and Shep; and his nephews, Doug Mathews, Mark Mathews, Scott Mathews and Bryan Mathews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. James Anglican Church, 801 Denver Ave., or First Christian Church, 602 Denver Ave., both in Dalhart TX 79022.
