LaNita Ames Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 9, 2026, at the age of 93, LaNita Ames (Dalhart, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, LaNita shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid LaNita farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Ames; her children, Tommy Lee, Dean, Garry and Larry Ames; and her brother Jerry.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Gay. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
