She was predeceased by: her father Melvin McDowell Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Merdis McDowell; her children, Tristian Jamal McDowell and Chalice Devon Williams; her husband Brant Williams; her sisters, Kemeka Lynette McDowell, Shalinda Liche McDowell and Vanessa McDowell; and her stepsister Cynthia Finister. She is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, five great-nephews, and two great-nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232).
