She was predeceased by : her father Rodolfo Gutierrez Sr.; and her grandparents, Christopher, Filbertha Salazar, Encarnation and Enriqueta Gutierrez.

She is survived by : her mother Josefa Gutierrez; her husband Anthony Ruiz; her children, Timothy Ruiz and Olivia Ruiz; her siblings, Rodolfo Gutierrez Jr. (April) and Diana Rodriguez; and her parents-in-law, Josefina and Willie Lopez. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lemons Funeral Home and Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072).
