He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thomas Sr. and Katie Gray-Thomas; and his son Arthur Thomas, II (Donnie). He is survived by: his stepdaughter Cheryl Ann Hicks-Thornton (John); his friend Frederick Louis Gipson (Kim); his cousins, Donald Wiley (Lynette), Charles Wiley (Lanell) and ClaraBell Stewart; and his caregivers, Kay Oguntona and Kim Grant.
