He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoriano Ramirez and Anita Perales; his wife Ester Ramirez; and his sister Guadalupe Olivares. He is survived by: his brother Ramon Ramirez (Marie Ramirez); his children, Patrick H. Portillo (Susan Portillo), Anita C. Ramirez, Cynthia A. Ramirez (Jo Hamsher) and Julia G. Parra (Henry Parra); his grandchildren, Victor A. Ramirez, Genevieve Goulding, Nicholas A. Mestas, Alexandra L. Henry, Mercedes M. Ramirez (Eva Bergner), Sara D. Seat (Jason Seat), Arturo H. Parra (Karina Parra) and Sarah Hamsher; and his great grandchildren, Tyler A. Mestas, Zeke Spears, Jacob Mixson, Chloe Spears, Cody Parra, Harley Parra, Max Seat, Ryleigh Seat, Nolan Parra and Eugene Goulding.
