He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Allen Slate and Frances Aldine McKamey Slate; his wife Wilma Jean Turner (Jean); and his son Mark Allen. He is survived by: his son Jeff Steven (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Ashley Victoria and Benjamin James Slate.
