He is survived by: his son Tristyn Fortner; his stepfather James Born; his girlfriend Terry Carpenter; his sister Debra Hixson; his parent Shirley Stanglin; and his sister Amy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Troy Suggs Funeral Home (7623 Military Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75227). A reception will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Church on the Hill (2111 Skyline Dr, Mesquite, TX 75149).
He had Alzheimer's but it never stopped him.
