He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezekiel McCowin and Adline McCowin. He is survived by: his former spouses, Ludie Suell and Hazel Franklin; his son Curtis Neal; his spouse Bobbie; his children, Sandra Elaine, Carolyn Jean, Marilyn Faye, Otis Milton, Marcus Lynn and Margie; his siblings, Leonard, Howard, Lamar, Verneal and Fannie; his children, Earnestine and Calvin Donnell (Debra); and his brother S. A. McCowin. He is also survived by grandchildren, thirty-six wonderful great-grandchildren and twenty-two awesome great-great grandchildren; one sister.
