Johnson Sr. and Selma Norgren Johnson; his wife Janet Chatfield Johnson of Goodland, Kansas.; his children, Charles David Johnson (Jamey Johnson) of Advance, David Stewart King (Jennifer King) of Richardson, Michael Lowell King (Angela King) of Lubbock, Teresa Marie Smith (Gary Smith) of Long Lake and Tammi Jo Johnson of Buffalo, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Patrick Smith, Jason, Kate Johnson, Justin Johnson, Noah Smith, Hannah King, Colin King, Carter King and Cooper King; his great grandchildren, Lennon Smith, Rowan Smith, Harlo Smith and Bennett Johnson; and his grandsons, Mason Lowell King and Dustin John Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Habitat for Humanity or the Network of Community Ministries, organizations that Charley held close to his heart and supported throughout his life.
