He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Moore and Sara Moore; his sibling's child Chris; his wife Shawne; his children, Nathan, Brandon, Ashley and Cadey; his grandchildren, Madison and Marlee; his brother Ray; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Jones and Tony Terry. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris's honor to the Valor Mission Project (VMP).
