He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rogers Johnson and Mary Etta Wylie. He is survived by: his wife Ann Principe; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Kimberly; his grandchildren, Kathryn and Kyle; his stepchildren, Mark and Danielle; and his stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Mercedes, Alina, Brielle, Malarie, Dalton and Caden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Dan's honor.
