He is survived by: his parent Dorothy McCoy; his children, Darchelle Smith and Darnell Smith (Georgina); his grandson Kapten Smith; and his sisters, Deborah McCarley (Smith) and June Mitchell (McCoy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
