It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ray Smith Sr. in Dallas, Texas, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Smith and Mary Geneva Smith; and his siblings, Kathryn Smith, Harry Smith and Charles Smith, Jr..

He is survived by : his siblings, Julia Price (Clarence) of Atlanta Georgia, Gladys Nealous (John) of Covington, Cynthia Frye of Grand Prairie and Vernon Smith (Yolanda) of Columbia; and his children, Dennis Smith, Jr. of Arlington, Texas, David Smith (Monica) of Fort Worth, Texas and Miesha Mosley of Lancaster, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gonzalez Funeral Home (3050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247).
