She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Higginbotham and Joseph Higginbotham. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Rogers; her children, Michael Rogers (Dave Giddings) and Katherine Roberts (William); her grandchildren, Henry Roberts (Jessica) and Alice Roberts; and her sisters, Jane Bayes (Kyle), Marian Niles of California and Harriet Stoneham of Dallas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hockaday School Great Hall (11600 Welch Rd, Dallas, TX 75229).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Hockaday School in Dallas, TX, or to The Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, TX, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
