He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Rosenthal and Eleanor Rosenthal (Bubsy); his wife Marian Rosenthal; his daughter-in-law Susan Rosenthal; and his close friend Vesta Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, John Rosenthal, Debi Bush (Phil) and Jane Rosenthal (Dave Rein); his grandchildren, Kate, Ben, Jacob Rosenthal, Daniel (Melissa), Aaron, Isabella Bush, Zoë and Jordan Rein; his stepchildren, Cheryl Freed (Billy) and Rick Kaufman (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Tyler Freed (Leslie), Russell Freed, Josh Kaufman and Jonah Kaufman (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Caroline and Betty.
