He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Grubbs; his parents, Homer and Lois; and his sisters, Sharon and Lois Rogers.

He is survived by: his children, Larry of Dallas and Donna Wilkins (Gerald) of Richardson; his grandsons, Blake Wilkins of Garland and Chris Wilkins (Maddie) of Dallas; and his brothers, David (Patricia) of Atlanta and Tim of Paris Texas. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
