We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2024, at the age of 85, Gilberto V. Orta of Dallas, Texas, born in San Benito, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Pedro Orta and Francisca Orta; his wife Esther Gomez Orta; and his children, Gilberto Orta Jr., Elizabeth Fajardo, Stella Javid and Domingo Orta.

He is survived by : his daughters, Angelita Orta (Jarrell Boxley), Linda Orta, Terry Martinez (Jesse Martinez) and Mary Andrews (Leslie Andrews). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 7 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
