He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon and Maria (Rugio Ramirez); and his son Samuel (Dawn). He is survived by: his wife Masako; and his children, Gus Jr. (Melissa) and Tina (Ryan). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
