He is survived by: his wife Ethel Bryson; his children, Alvin (Stephanie), Gala, Rachel and Penny (Jerry); and his sisters-in-law, Sharmane Bryson (Ovella Davis), Esther Davis and Norma Gassaway. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
