He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Irons and Jennie Kate Brazil Irons; his former wife Mozelle Natalie Groebl; and his brother Mike. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Craig (Lauren), Lindsey (Bill) and Michelle (Lucian); his grandchildren, Will, Caroline, Jackson and Callen; and his brother Dick Irons (Cathy). He is also survived by in-laws; many nieces and nephews; cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church (9800 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75230).
He was a member of, and often held leadership roles in, many local organizations including Leadership Dallas, the Dallas All Sports Association, the Turtle Creek Breakfast Club, and The Scovell Scholarship Foundation.
