Janet left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. L. Martz and Lorene Martz of Odessa. She is survived by: her husband Brian Evans; her son John (Katie); her grandchildren, Dewey and Kleo of New York City; her siblings, Kay McKinney and Mike Martz; and her siblings' children, Kelly McKinney, Kevin McKinney and Missy Pixley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Barnabas Presbyterian Church (1220 W Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75080).
