He was predeceased by : his parents, Ramon Vasquez, Sr. and Yrene Avila Vasquez; his siblings, Mary Ramirez, Ramon Vasquez, Jr. and Dora Quiroz of Houston; and his granddaughter Alejandra Madalena Perez.

He is survived by : his wife Udelia Velez Vasquez; his daughter Elsa Jean Yzaguirre (Albert) of DeSoto; and his grandchildren, Jessica Marie Vasquez-Vega (Danny) of San Antonio, Texas., Noah Sage Perez of Grove City, Ohio, Gisele-Elizabeth Alexandra Perez of DeSoto and Maverick Mason Vega of San Antonio, Texas..
