He was predeceased by: his parents, John Auer and Edith Auer; and his siblings, Thomas Auer and Carol Ann Ambrose. He is survived by: his sister Kathleen Barneman; and his sibling's children, Matthew Thompson, Catherine Evans, April Purtell, Deborah Sundermann, Heather Thompson, Cliff Barneman and Christina Venezia.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Church (450 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08087).
