It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph McCoy of Dallas, Texas, born in Archibald, Louisiana, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Clifton McCoy, Beatrice McCoy, Mary McCoy, Nathaniel McCoy, Willie Kendricks, Burl Kendricks, Ernestine Kendricks and Cloteen Kendricks.

He is survived by : his wife Althia McCoy; his daughter Angela "Peaches" McCoy (Stephen); his granddaughter Mareena (Big Baby); his siblings, Eunice McCoy of Bastrop, LA, Bertha McCoy of Mesquite, TX and Elbert McCoy (Betty) of Lancaster, TX.; and his friends, Ruby Gray, Cassandra S. and Lorene B..
