We announce the death of Julia (JonesFischer) Kay in Dallas, Texas, born in Desloge, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Julia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Julia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Jones and Berniece Jones (LaChance); and her husband G. Jack Fischer. She is also survived by her many cousins: Jack's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild: godchildren: and numerous close friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Preston Meadow Lutheran Church (6801 Coit Rd, Plano, TX 75024). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
