He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Sr. and Maple Ford; his wife Charlotte Ann Ford; and his stepson Randall B. Parker. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruthie Wortham, Lydia Shaw (John), John Ford Jr. (Helen Jean) and Michael Ford. He is also survived by 12 Grandkids, 10 Great Grandkids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greater Ideal Missionary Baptist Church (3610 Bonnie View Rd, Dallas, TX 75216). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (1600 Pear St, Dallas, TX 75215).
