With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon BOBBY Fininen of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae Fininen and Lishious Williams; his grandparents, Lottie Jackson Fininen and Ed Fininen; his sister Maude Ester Fininen; his daughter Teresa Fininen-Green; and his stepdaughter Terri Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Queenie Fininen; his children, Bobby Fininen, Annette Fininen and Veronica Lane (John Lane); his stepchildren, Audrey Johnson, Andrea Myles (Jesse Myles), Valerie Matthews Thompson (Vincent Thompson), Kenneth Matthews and Terrance Matthews; and his brother Melvin Morgan (Ida Morgan). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of live flowers, plants or a donation made in Leon's memory to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church are welcome.
