He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Michael Carnes (Angel) and Christina Carnes; his grandchildren, Ryan, Zackary Dixson and Josephine Carnes; and his siblings, Bob, Teresa, Bryan, Tim, Mary and Cary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Restland Memorial Chapel (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
