She was predeceased by: her parents, James Loraine and Mary Ruth Rice (Campbell); her son Kent W. Rimer; her brother James Otis Rice (Lois Ann); her former husband James W. Rimer; her siblings-in-law, A. G. Rimer, Mary Margaret Goodwin and Ruth Ellen Monroe; and her nephew Mark E. Rimer.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Monroe; her daughter-in-law Vandi Rimer Carpino (Michael) of Denver; her stepsons, Mark W. Monroe (Terri) and Darrell L. Monroe of Memphis; her grandchildren, Meredith L. Rimer Ajello (Bill) and James L. Rimer (Katy); her great grandchildren, Emerson, Finley, Griffin, Maggie and Molly; her sibling's children, Connie Jean Johnson (Roger) of Kirksville, Diana L. Beets (Michael) of Kirksville, Pamela S. Richmond of Kirksville, Virginia A. Halterman (Kenneth) of Kirksville, Mary Theresa Mihalevich (Paul) of Columbia, Stacy J. (Cary) of Smithville, Gigi Rimer Draper (Darren) of Edina, James Clayton Rice (Melissa), Alan G. Rimer (Stacy) and R. Kevin Goodwin (Sherry); and her sister-in-law Bebe Ann Rimer (A.
