She is survived by: her sons, Lucilious Johnson Jr. (Paula), Randy Johnson of Dallas, TX, Earl Johnson (Cathy) of Bentonville, AR and John Hawthorne of Fort Worth, TX; her sister Helen Shaw-Stabler (Liz); her daughter Abeni; her brother Albert McArthur Shaw (Pete); her nephews, Phillip and Aaron; and her grandchildren, Brittane Carter, Garyon Johnson, Domonique Johnson, Antone'a Johnson, Jacoby Johnson, Evan Johnson, Myles Johnson, Ryan Ashley Hawthorne, Dvon Hawthorne and Malik Hawthorne. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She held leadership roles in the community as a member of the LBK Foundation and the United Christian Ladies Scholarship Fund program for boys, encouraging young people to pursue higher learning opportunities.
