He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edna, Robert Gray, Evelyn and William Wood. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Richard Wood and Judith Wood; his wife Kristen Bidopia; his daughters, Christina and Angela; his parents-in-law, Tina and Ramy Bidopia; his brother-in-law Jason; and his siblings, David Wood, Catherine Wood Triantos (Takis), Andrew Wood (Portia), Alison Wood Solomon and Casey Wood Munoz (Manolo). He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (8017 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75225). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75220).
