She was predeceased by: her parents, C. L. Knighton and Rosa Knighton. She is survived by: her daughter Sonja Seger; her sister Sondra K. Kelly; her grandchildren, Kyle Stinnett, Alan Ehrlich, Leah Bray and Lauren Rodriguez; her niece Staci Rogers; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Erik and Myla Rogers. She is also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren and several cousins.
