She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Castleberry and Alice Castleberry; her husband Dalton Eugene Cornelius; and her siblings, Maxwell Castleberry, Betty Weatherly, Grace Mascho and Yvonne Potter.

She is survived by : her brother Harold Castleberry; her grandchildren, Shane Cornelius, Blake Cornelius, Jaclyn Cornelius, Chris Cornelius, Andrea Shepperd, Adam Phillips, Nathan Phillips and Rebekah Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Angelina Gilmore, Parker Cornelius, Landon Archer, Adalynn Zello, Ian Cornelius, Hudson Cornelius, Emerson Shepperd and Isaac Phillips.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75081). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at the Restland Memorial Park (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75081).
