He was predeceased by: his mother Edwina Johnson. He is survived by: his father Marshnell Johnson; his siblings, Betty Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and Tanya Gooch; and his close friends, Alex, Nancy Curiel and Phyllis Lovett. He is also survived by six nieces, three nephews, thirteen great-nephews and nieces, one great-great-nephew, one great-great-niece, four aunts, one uncle, and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
