He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Jaeckle and Lucille Reitz Jaeckle; his brothers, Michael and Jerry Jaeckle; and his former wife Blanche Jaeckle.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jaeckle of Richardson; his daughter Judy Jaeckle Zafereo (Jason); his grandsons, Noah of Frisco, Joel of Frisco, Josh of Frisco and Nathan Zafereo of Frisco; his sister Carol Burns of Dallas; and his caregiver Eunice Mwangala. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (720 S Floyd Rd, Richardson, TX 75080).
