He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Dohmeyer and Jane Carson; his stepparents, John Douglas Carson and Jean Dohmeyer; his brother Steven Dohmeyer; and his sister-in-law Pamela Dohmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Dohmeyer; his son Douglas Dohmeyer; his daughter-in-law Crystal Vasquez; his daughter Natalie Dohmeyer; his grandson Arthur Dohmeyer; his brother Ronald Dohmeyer; his nephew Max Dohmeyer; and his pets, Ava and Leela. He is also survived by the many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243).
In lieu of flowers, Bob's family asks that donations be made to Central Commons Community Dog Park, a place that held a special place in Bob's daily life.
