He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Vestal Stokes. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Stokes Parker (Dale Parker) and Robert-Charles Stokes; his grandchildren, Shanda Barksdale Thomas (Joel Thomas) and Keenan Barksdale; and his great grandchildren, Reagan and Jackson.
President George Bush gave Bob the National Volunteer Service Award for his contribution to the National Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, an organization within the IRS which acts as an advocate for taxpayers.
