Ruby leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ruby’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ruby will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enroy Levy and Adeline Cole Levy Butcher; her husband Floyd; and her siblings, Alice Levy, Shirley Butcher, Irvin Levy and Leroy Levy.
She is survived by: her niece Phyllis Levy-Mitchell; and her brothers, Dr. Louis B. Levy Sr. and Joseph Butcher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Greater Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church (9333 Ferguson Rd, Dallas, TX 75228). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
