It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Taylor Mize (Dallas, Texas), born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gary; her son Travis; her parents-in-law, Jean and Ray; her father Dearil; and her siblings, Wanda, Debbie, Sheri and Floyd.
She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Taylor; her son Jay Mize (Mindy); her grandchildren, Alexis and Keira; her son Cory Mize; her granddaughter Lyla; her siblings-in-law, Rick Mize and Debbie Ellison (Tony); and her brothers, Tim Taylor and Mike Herron (Sarah).
A devoted cat mom to the very end, it should come as no surprise that in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent in honor of Sandra's memory to Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance in Richardson, Texas, at feralfriends.org/donate.
