He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

“Tom will be forever remembered by the people he met. My close friend and I both worked with Tom for years and we still use one of his catchphrases, "you may go now". Everytime we laugh and remember how he made work fun. We actually used it today and thought to look him up, but instead was saddened to learn of his passing. The timing is almost like he reached out. Personally Tom and his family helped me through a tough time. My condolences to his family, he was a great friend.”
