She is survived by: her husband Stanley; her daughters, Deborah (Peter Koeppel), Dana (Bruce Macdonough) and Michelle (Stanley Lynch); and her grandchildren, Alex Koeppel, Paige Koeppel Schlisser (Emanuel), Elizabeth Macdonough, Katherine Macdonough and Julie Macdonough.
After Stanley's passing in 2003, she had another chance at love with Leonard Schaen; they were together until his passing just before the pandemic. And thus began the final chapter of Vi's life.
