He is survived by: his wife Brenda Brim; his children, Samuel Gordon (Haylee) and Charlotte Leigh; his granddaughter Olivia Michael Swinton; his brother Scott Matthew Swinton (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Trudi Zaplac Swinton and Markland Paul Brim (Carolyn). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Dallas in Lovvorn Hall.
