He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ayers and Marjorie Ayers; his wife Alma J. Ayers; his daughter Jerlene Haywood; his grandchildren, Megan Ayers, Tori Forte, Madison Turley (Sam Turley) and Chandler Haywood (Kyleigh Haywood); his younger Cleona Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Cameron, Jaydon, Izora and Arlo. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Black and Clark Funeral Home (2517 E Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75216).
