She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Abrams and Ephram Abrams; her husband Verriel Hicks; and her granddaughter Antoinette Evans. She is survived by: her children, Nona Drake (Robert), Rev. Charles Hicks (Kelly), Dorthy, Louise, Julia and Verriel Hicks Jr.; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Richardson (Joel) and Raymond Franklin (Kimberly). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren.
