She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Peña Silvas and Virginia Rodriguez; and her grandchildren, Mario Silva, Vanessa, Valencia Munoz and Kaylee Muñoz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Virginia Saldana (Daniel), Bennie Silvas (Rebecca), Yvette Cooper (James) and Robert Silvas; her husband Robert Muñoz; her son Randall; her granddaughters, Maria Muñoz and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Rodriguez and Enzo Ibarra.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gonzalez Funeral Home (3050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247). A rosary was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75220). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
