She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Oakes and William Oakes; her husband Milton Leroy Long; her sons, Marty Long and Clayton Long; and her siblings, Joann Oakes, Teddy Oakes, Frances Chavers, Linda Fabrygel, William Oakes and Joe Oakes.
She is survived by: her sons, Deaton Long (Mona) of Georgia and Milton "Snoopy" Long (Casey) of Damon; and her sisters, Sue Batchelor of Damon, Lily Smith of West Columbia and Gail Farmer of Georgia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
