She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powell and Bonnie Fay Rains Powell. She is survived by: her husband George Proffitt; her sons, Darrell Ray Proffitt (Rhonda) of Center and Korby Proffitt (Lisa) of Dayton, Texas; her siblings, Alan Powell (Lanore) and Darlene Andrus (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Peyton, Baili, Meagan, Morgan and Sierra; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Stellah, Averly, Hunter and Enzo.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
