The memory of Earlene Oramae Skarpa of Dayton, Texas, born in Crosby, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Roeder and Elizabeth Baumbach Roeder; her husband Leroy Skarpa; her son Ricky Skarpa; her grandchildren, Randi R. Skarpa and Kelli Elyssa Nona; and her siblings, Alice Skrabanek and Gilbert Roeder.

She is survived by : her daughters, Peggy Wallet (David) of Dayton and Sandra Nona (Martin) of Pittsboro. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sterling Funeral Home (602 N Main St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's the Worker Catholic Church (804 S Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535).
